Provide all invoices with accompanying statements; including:

Place invoices in bank statement order

Make sure all credits/deposits have accompanying invoices and personal deposits are written on the bank statements

Mark on your telecom toll account any personal calls made

Open a separate bank account for business & keep your personal transactions separate; this saves on a lot of processing time

Note cheque number and date paid on invoices

New Accounting Process

To improve our Customer Services, we have introduced a 6 week cycle to complete the Financial Accounting for our clients. A designated Client Manager will forward a questionnaire requesting information when they are ready to begin the work. We review all records before we start any work to ensure we have the necessary information to complete the accounts in a timely manner. This is by far the most efficient way to complete your work.

If you are looking to physically drop your papers into the office, be prepared for a 15 minute review to ensure everything is in order. Ideally it would be appreciated if you could arrange this with our Service Team - Dorothea Henry or Marina Abel who will be very happy to arrange an appointment.

Steps to help you minimise accounting costs

Meetings with Staff

As Accountants charge for time, it is best if you make an appointment with the right person, not only to get the correct information but also to reduce charges for their time which is based on a tier function as follows:

Client Services Assistant - $90 per hour

Intermediate Accounting Technician - $85 per hour

Client Manager - $120 per hour

Director - $250 per hour
